If you’re a Pima student going to the Tucson Comic-con to work the gaming table (#GR8), here’s what you need to know:
Where is the convention?
At the Tucson Convention Center, downtown. Here is a map. You enter the convention on the northwest corner of the convention center. There is some paid parking at the convention center, and there is also street-level parking downtown.
When should I show up?
At the bottom of this page is a list of the times people are working the gaming table. The gaming table is table number GR8 and is located on the ground floor of the convention center (see the map below). Try and get there 10-15 minutes before you’re supposed to sit at the table.
Where is the gaming table?
Here is a map of the upper-level. Booth GR8 is in the bottom of the blue area.
Where will the table coordinator (Greg) be?
Greg will be at a booth on the lower level (the main floor) of the convention, if you need him. His table number is AA77. Here’s a map of the main exhibit hall.
You can call or text him during the convention, to coordinate anything to do with the gaming table. His number is (520) 623-2702
How do I get my ticket?
Your ticket will either be in the Will Call area located on the map (above) or Greg will have them, and you’ll need to call or text him to have him bring them out to you at the convention entrance. You will have to go through a metal detector before you can get your ticket.
What is Monkey Tower Key Stone?
If you signed up to sit at the table but did not put down the name of a game to demonstrate, we have a game you can show to the public called “Monkey Tower Key Stone.” It will be at the table, along with instructions on how to play it.
What if I have more questions?
Call or text Greg at the number above or e-mail him at email@example.com
